Kung fu Panda was this week's Saturday Review, even though I am doing the review on a Sunday. When this movie first came out, I was a little doubtful that it would be this great hit that everyone thought it would be. I couldn't have more wrong! This is the perfect movie for young children or any age that enjoys hilarious antics. It has many big actors and actresses in this movie, such as Jack Black who plays the lovable P0, and others like, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Lu, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, and much more. The plot is very simple to follow and the whole movie is extremely easy to watch. It is so quotable! One of my new favorite words from this movie is"Skadoosh", and my favorite qoute would be the fist sentence of the movie, "Legend tells of a legendary warrior who's kung fu skills were the stuff of legends". If you are ever in need of something to laugh at or just watch without having to think, this is the perfect movie. Plus the music at the end, which is "Kung fu Fighting" makes me want to get up and dance everytime. It is rated PG and is 92 minutes.

Saturday Movie Review

Saturday Movie Reviews
I've decided that every saturday, I will watch a movie and then blog and review on it. This week's movie is CutThroat Island, starring Geena Davis and Matthew Modine. Geena Davis has starred in Beetlejuice, Stuart Little, and Thelma & Louise, to name a few. I'm suprised that Matthew Modine wasn't a bigger star, he reminds me so much of Cary Ewles from The Princess Bride and Robin Hood:Men in Tights. He would be the perfect actor for so many comedian movies. Plus he ain't that bad looking. This movie, which can be very cheesy and cliched at times, is also very heart-warming and funny and has some individuality. My favorite line from this mvoie is "They're backwards."says Morgan. "I assure you ma'am, they are normal in every respect." replies Shaw. You have to see the movie to get it. It's a very good movie, and I'm glad that I got it. It is 119 minutes long and rated PG-13. It's a movie, you will want to watch over and over again.
